| The following kit versions are available Kits for rack mounting (battery behind the seat) in 26, 24, 20 and 16 inch wheel sizes
At present we only stock kits in the 26 inch wheel size. Any of the other sizes would be a special order
and a 50 percent deposit would be required.
These kits are very easy to install The kit comes with a front rim. You take your tire and tube off your existing front rim and install it on
the new w-energy rim. For this rim to fit you need 3.75 inches between the front forks or the hydraulic
shocks. The motor is built into the front hub and the power cable comes out via the centre of the shaft which
has been drilled out. The shaft has been machined just a tad larger than regular shafts, so you may find
that you have to file your existing slots on your forks or hydraulic shocks just a bit for this w-energy
rim to fit without forcing it in. Once the rim is installled, you run your wiring harness, secure the controller, install the throttle
handle, install the rack behind the seat and secure the battery. Double check to make sure all
wiring end connectors are secure and your ready to roll. It's just that simple. |
