The Starship Tascosa

       The idea came to them after reading a yet unpublished book called, "Two Billion Years Ago, A Heavily Armed Warship
 Went Into Earth Orbit".

       The book is based on a human civilization found halfway across our galaxy. Evil forces on their planet threaten to
 destroy their advanced technology, so they build a fleet of starships to try and save their world. Not willing to risk everything
 on the outcome, they send two starships to colonize a small evolving planet on the far side of the galaxy, which they named
 Earth. The distance made it impossible to send humans, so they build a race of super-humans in their image and likeness.

       With the two starships they launched a super class meteor, which would act as a planet claim marker, when it
 reached Earth. This all happened more than two billion years ago. The two starships reached our planet safely and the meteor
 fell to Earth in a place that is today called the Sudbury Basin, in northeastern Ontario, Canada. Our planet has been a 
 protected colony of their home world ever since. These humans on that distant planet called Terra, were are ancestors.

       The starship, DS7 wants to build is called Tascosa and it looks somewhat like the Star Trek Starship Voyager, although it
 has some major differences. The starship would have the following built in and or around it;

------- A state of the art convention center, a performing arts theatre, an events center and a casino.

------- The starship would have hotel rooms aboard it along with hotel rooms beside it.

------- There would be an array of various exhibits, restaurants, lounges, a museum, retail shopping and souvenir shops
         aboard the ship, with many other surprises, including alien beings.

------- Of course, the starship will have all the features one would expect to find aboard this kind of a ship, such as
         a bridge, ready room, briefing room, main engineering plus more, including a holodeck.

------- The starship will house the most advanced technology in the world.

------- The massive complex would be located in a park setting with ponds, a creek and a lake.

          The starship would become an instant icon and ambassador for the region, where it is built. This is one tourist
        attraction that would attract people from every part of the world. With a convention center built into the ship,
        a list of companies wanting to hold their conventions there, would be long, as this would be a whole new
        experience. Attendees would be able to book accommodations aboard the ship and experience the thrill of being
        part of the crew in a minivideo production of a starship episode called "Starship Standoff". Every individual singer, 
        group and movie star on the planet, would jump at the chance to perform aboard this starship in its performing
        arts theatre.

        The starship "Tascosa" would become a premier North American Tourist Attraction.

------- So the question is will this starship that came from a distant world ever be built. It's going to take a massive effort from  
        a team of players, for the price tag will be about 3 billion dollars.

       To attract the mega bucks that will be needed to build this starship, DS7 is working on an incentive package that will
       hopefully make large national and international companies take notice.
       There are the traditional methods such as company names for various amenities.
       DS7 is considering giving major sponsors a part of a starship deck for their own use, rent free for as long as the
       original sponsor company exists.

       So, where is this starship going to be built. DS7 has a couple of places in mind, but because there is so much money
       involved, the final location could very well be decided by the big sponsors.

       Various companies across North America support a wide range of activities in areas such as business, tourism, sports,
       arts & culture and community involvement. These sponsorships allow them to be active in the communities, while
       providing themselves with marketing support. Companies who sponsor are looking for the following benefits:

       attraction will go a step beyond that, by giving the major sponsors space aboard the starship for their
       exclusive use.

       It is safe to say companies are always on the watch for new and innovative ideas to promote themselves.
       DS7 with this tourism plan is giving you an out of this world idea.

       At this point in time, DS7 would like to hear from interested parties, about their thoughts on the project,
       how they would like to be a part of it, suggestions about where it should be built and a donation figure, which would
       be comfortable for them. DS7 are not asking anyone to commit at this time but we do need an idea of those who
       would be interested.

       DS7 does have a full tourism plan written up, which was geared for a specific city in North America. We would like to
        hear from interested companies so that we can modify the plan and proceed from their.
